Writ of Mandamus

A Writ of Mandamus is a legal remedy filed in U.S. federal court to force government agencies to act on delayed immigration applications. It is particularly useful for those experiencing unreasonable delays in the processing of visas, green cards, citizenship, or other immigration matters. A successful writ compels the government to take swift action, safeguarding your rights and accelerating the process. You may qualify for a Writ of Mandamus if your immigration application has been significantly delayed, such as:

Asylum: Four years waiting for an asylum interview, or six months without a decision post-interview.
Citizenship: More than 120 days since your citizenship interview.
Green Card: Over one year of waiting for a marriage-based green card.
Administrative Processing: Months of delays after a consular interview.

If you're dealing with these delays, a Writ of Mandamus can help push your case forward.
